1. Reading
- Format: 2 passages, 20 questions (35 min)

Key Strategies
- Skip full passage → use questions to guide reading
- Use transition clues for “Insert Text”
- Apply Process of Elimination (POE)
2. Listening
- Format: 2–3 lectures + 2–3 conversations (36 min)

- Lecture/conversation structure
- Academic & idiomatic vocabulary
- Accent, stress, intonation comprehension
Key Strategies
- Take selective notes (main ideas, attitude, transitions)
- Predict likely questions
- Focus on speaker purpose & tone
3. Speaking
- Format: 4 tasks (1 Independent, 3 Integrated) – 16 min
Core Skills
- Clear structure: Idea → Reasons → Details
- Precise vocabulary
- Clear, intelligible pronunciation
Key Strategies
- Use templates (especially Integrated tasks)
- Prep with keywords only (15–30 sec)
- Maintain steady pace; finish on time
4. Writing
- Format: 2 tasks (Integrated + Academic Discussion) – 29 min
Core Skills
- Organized academic writing
- Advanced vocabulary & varied sentences
- Logical flow and coherence
Key Strategies
- Integrated: Emphasize lecture vs. reading contrast
- Discussion:
- Acknowledge others
- State opinion
- Support with example (120–150 words)
- Proofread (grammar, articles, tense)
