COURSE DESCRIPTION
LSAT stands for Law School Admission Test is by nature a standardized, multiple-choice exam by LSAC that is designed mainly to assess skills crucial for law schools in the US. LSAT measures skills like Reading Comprehension with a tinge of Logical Reasoning (Induction and Deduction). These skills are used by most North American law programs for admission and scholarship programs. Indubitably, LSAT is a significant part of law school application, and is often more influential than SAT/ACT for undergraduate applicants. The main objective of LSAT is to measure applicant’s abilities for law school success, not natural intelligence. LSAT structure includes scored sections, an un-scored experimental section (hidden to candidates), and a writing sample (ONLY sent to schools but not scored). LSAT scoring and results are reported as a scaled score (120-180) and percentile, with higher scores indicating better performance.
