How can teachers develop their professional identity? Promoting and supporting the development of strong professional identities in teachers is relevant to teachers, policy makers and the research community. We always find fault with others when they make a mess or a mistake, and call them rookies! However, when they do something great, we come to call them as the champion, out in the front, crowned, and we call them the professional.
