● Learning Outcomes

This course is an intensive program designed to teach you the fundamentals of TESOL and prepare you for a career in teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language (ESL/EFL contexts) across the world. We will learn a variety of teaching styles, techniques and strategies, approaches and methods, skills presentation, psychological factors, and how to prepare for running your own classroom. We will be reviewing English grammar, lexis, phonics, 4 major skills (LSRW), language functions, motivation, learner needs (needs analysis and task analysis), error analysis, lesson planning, and corrective feedback, as well as observing ESL teachers, and creating and practicing delivery of lessons and assessments for different English levels. ITESOL course involves 20 Modules merged with quizzes. You are required to pass the modules and obtain 80% score in every quiz you take after a module.

● Assignments:

You will have 3 assignments in the class, including a Skills Presentation, a Teacher Observation/Analysis, A lesson Plan, and an Assessment you create. You will also have a final lesson plan that you will create and teach to the class. At the end of every single module you pass, you take a quiz based on Cambridge TKT standards.

● Exams:

You will be required to write a midterm exam as well as a final exam.

Certification: Upon successful completion of the course, you will receive the valid certificate (academic credential) from LiteLern Educational Academy.
