An online e-TESOL MOOC Certificate program built around international TESOL Official Requirements

OUR MISSION: 

At LiteLern Educational Inc., our professional and qualified team including TESL Ontario Certified Theory and Methodology Instructors, Practicum Supervisor, and Academic We offer an e-TESOL MOOC CERTIFICATE PROGRAM to educate student-teachers develop their teaching knowledge and practical skills to equip themselves with techniques, strategies, and plans to teach various English skills and core knowledge to speakers of other languages both locally and internationally.   

e-TESOL MOOC PROGRAM offers:

• 180 hours of TESL theory and methodology instruction (2 months)
• 20 hours of observation (1 week)
• 20 hours of supervised practice teaching (1 week)

In accordance with TESL Ontario requirements an accredited program.

The theory/methodology component will be delivered in person, online synchronously, or in a hybrid format. Asynchronous hours cannot be counted toward the required 220 hours, therefore, there will always be a mentor to observe your learning process. 

 e-TESOL MOOC Certificate

The e-TESOL MOOC Certificate is a comprehensive, flexible online professional-development program designed to prepare current and aspiring English-language teachers for effective teaching in international ESL/EFL contexts. The course integrates contemporary TESOL and TESL theory with practical, classroom-oriented methodology, enabling participants to develop the knowledge, skills, and professional awareness required to teach multilingual learners confidently in face-to-face, blended, and online environments.

The MOOC covers the foundations of TESOL/TESL, second-language acquisition, learner needs and differences, English language systems, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, and the four language skills. Participants develop practical expertise in communicative language teaching, lesson planning, classroom management, differentiated instruction, technology-enhanced learning, assessment, feedback, materials development, and reflective teaching practice. Special attention is given to inclusive, learner-centred, culturally responsive, and evidence-informed pedagogy.

Through video lessons, readings, interactive activities, quizzes, teaching demonstrations, lesson-design tasks, case studies, reflective assignments, and practical teaching applications, participants progressively connect theory with classroom practice. Successful completion demonstrates structured professional learning in TESOL/TESL and provides a documented foundation for teachers seeking opportunities in international language schools, private institutions, online education, and continuing professional development.
